Terms
Last updated 23 October 2026.
This is the deal between you and Reisinger Media LLC, trading as snpz, of Elliottsburg, Pennsylvania ("we", "us"), for snpz: the snpz app and app.snpz.ai, the website snpz.ai, the calls, texts and emails we send barbershops, our AI on the phone, and the phone, texting and booking service we run for shops. In the app you agree to it when you tap a button next to "By continuing, you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy." (the first is Start, on the app's first screen); using any of the rest means you agree to it too. The privacy page is part of it, and so is our privacy policy at snpz.ai for our calls, texts, emails and the shop service. The website carries these same terms, at snpz.ai/terms. Read section 18: a dispute between us goes to arbitration, one person at a time, not to a court or a class action, unless you opt out.
If you had an account before 22 October 2026, these terms apply to you 30 days after we email you about them, or sooner if you tap a button next to that line in the app; until then, the terms you agreed to before still apply.
The short version: your clips and videos are yours. We only hold them long enough to make your video and let you save it, then we delete them on our own: clips 48 hours after the video last changed, the finished video 30 days after it was made. Nothing is posted until you post it yourself. If we call, text or email your shop, tell us to stop and we stop for good; and if you are a shop's client, the shop is the business you deal with, not us.
1. What you get
A feed of short haircut video formats. Pick one, film the clips on your own phone the way the app shows (or add videos you already have), and you get a video cut like the one you picked, edited for you. You watch it first. Nothing is posted anywhere until you tap Post and post it yourself.
The videos in the feed are other creators' posts. They play in TikTok's, Instagram's or YouTube's own player, straight from them, and we never copy them. Showing one does not mean its creator, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube works with snpz or recommends it.
You can start without an email, as a guest. The app keeps what you make on that phone until you add your email, and you add it to start your free week, to pay, or to use snpz on another phone.
2. What it costs
There is one plan: $20 a month for unlimited videos. There is no free video: the app shows the plan right after your first questions, before you film. It starts with a 1-week free trial, once per email address, and you give a card on Stripe's checkout page to start it. The app shows the price before you pay, and nothing is charged unless you start the plan on Stripe's page. You must be 18 or older to start the free week or pay.
The plan is sold on the web, through Stripe, not through Apple or Google. In the iPhone app, Start free week opens Stripe's page in Safari.
If someone from snpz gave you a code, it shows a thank-you from them; it gives you the same free week everyone gets, nothing more. A code has no cash value, is only for the person it was made for, and we can end it at any time. Accounts made before the plan started stay free until the launch date the app shows, then see the plan like everyone else.
- The free week. Free for 7 days. Nothing is charged during it, and we remind you a day before the free week ends. The first $20 is charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
- It renews by itself. After the free week your card is charged $20 every month, counted from the day the free week ended, until you cancel. Starting the free week is your yes to that: you let us, through Stripe, charge your card each month until you cancel.
- Yearly: once your first month has been paid, you can switch to $200 a year in Settings, Your plan. Stripe charges the year at once, less the unused part of your month, and it renews every year until you cancel. Cancel and it keeps working to the end of the year you paid for; we do not refund the rest of a year.
- Cancel any time in Settings, Your plan, Manage plan, or by emailing us at the address below. Cancel during the free week and you are never charged. After that, your plan keeps working to the end of the month you already paid for and is not charged again.
- Refunds. We do not refund the part of a month (or a year) you have already paid for, except where the law says we must. If you were charged by mistake, email us and we will put it right.
- If a payment fails, your videos keep coming for 7 days while you update your card in Manage plan. After that, new videos wait until the payment goes through.
- Payments go through Stripe. You type your card into Stripe's own page; we never see or keep your card number. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment.
- Taxes. Prices are in US dollars and include no tax. Where we must collect a sales tax, Stripe's page adds it and shows it before you pay.
- A disputed charge. If you think a charge is wrong, email us first and we will look at it. If you dispute it with your bank or card company instead, we may pause your account until it is settled.
- If the price changes, we email you before the new price applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it does.
- Deleting your account cancels your plan first, at once, and the rest of the month is not refunded.
3. Your account
One account is for one barber or one shop. Keep the sign-in codes we email you to yourself: what happens on your account is yours to answer for. Give us a real email address and only Instagram or TikTok usernames that are yours, and tell us at the address below if you think someone else got in.
We give you a personal right to use the app for your work while these terms apply. It is not exclusive, you cannot hand it to anyone else, and it ends if your account is closed (section 14).
4. Your clips and videos are yours
You keep everything you film. You let us store your clips, edit them into videos and show the videos to you, and look at them to fix problems and make the editing better. We do not use your clips or videos for anything else, and never in our own marketing without asking you first. We delete your clips 48 hours after your video last changed (a week at the most), and the finished video 30 days after it was made (or sooner, if you delete it or your account): save the ones you want to keep to your phone.
In full: when you add a clip, a voice note or a voiceover, you give us permission to store it, copy it, change it (cut, crop, steady, colour, caption, add sound), make videos from it, send it to the services on the privacy page that do part of that work for us, and show the results to you, only to run snpz for you. The permission is free of charge and not exclusive: you can use your clips anywhere else. It ends when we delete the file; a copy in our backups ages out within 14 days.
The finished video and the caption we write for it are yours to use however you like, your shop's marketing included. What is ours stays ours: the app, its templates (the way a format is cut), our caption styles and the snpz name. A video cut like a format gives you no rights in the format, or in the creator's video it came from. The sound effects we add to a Consultation (a ding, a pop) are ours; you may post them with that video.
Upload only what is yours to post. A song playing in the shop while you film belongs to whoever owns it, and TikTok or Instagram can mute or remove a video that carries it. We do not check what you add before it is edited, and we are not responsible for it. If you send us an idea or a note about the app, we may use it freely and owe you nothing for it.
Copy this one. You can send us a video from your Templates grid with Copy this one, and our team may build a template from the way it is cut, for you and every barber. Send only a video you are allowed to share. The video is kept as the privacy page says; a template copies how a video is cut, never the video file, its people or its sound.
5. The people in your videos
Ask before you film anyone, and never record anyone in secret. Before you post a video with a client in it, the client has agreed to be posted. That agreement is yours to get and to keep. Once, before you film, the app asks you to confirm it with one tick: "I get my clients' OK before I film them, and a parent's or guardian's OK for anyone under 18."
Each time you add a clip you promise us that it is yours or you have the right to use it this way; that everyone who can be seen or heard in it said yes to being filmed and to the video being posted (for anyone under 18, a parent or guardian said yes); and that the video breaks no law and no one else's rights, such as their copyright, privacy or likeness.
That yes includes any consent the law where you work asks for: a signed release where the law or TikTok or Instagram asks for one, and consent to the measuring and comparing of faces, hands and bodies the privacy page describes. Keep proof of it. We rely on your promise and do not check it.
6. How the editing works
Your video is edited for you by our software, on our own computers and, for some formats in the iPhone app, on your phone. Along the way, automated tools look at your clips: they find movement, sharpness, hands, faces and the beat of the song, and turn what is said into words. Some of those tools are AI models, such as Anthropic's Claude, which looks at still frames and at the words of a talk to help choose shots, and in a Consultation marks who is speaking and the tone of each line, to place the zooms, captions and sound effects. Claude sees your clips only after you allow it, on the screen the app shows before you film; if you say no, we cannot make your videos, and nothing is filmed or sent. Our computers start on each clip as soon as it is uploaded, while you are still filming. One check compares the client in your before clips with the person in your after clips, by face, build and clothes, only so a video never cuts from one client to another. The privacy page says what each one sees. None of them puts a name to anyone or looks anyone up.
Automated tools make mistakes. A video can come out with a cut in the wrong place, a caption that misheard a word, or a shot you would not have picked. Watch every video before you post it: what you post is your choice and your responsibility.
7. What you may not do
- Add anything sexual or nude, anything that sexualises or endangers a child, or anyone under 18 without a parent's or guardian's yes.
- Add anything hateful, threatening, harassing or violent, or anything that breaks the law or helps someone else break it.
- Film anyone who has not said yes, record anyone in secret, or pretend to be someone else.
- Add other people's videos, music or work as your own, or anything you have no right to use.
- Make extra guest accounts to get more videos, share an account between shops, or resell what the app makes as a service of your own.
- Copy, take apart or overload the app, get round its limits, reach it with bots or scripts, or get into another account.
We may remove anything that breaks these rules, and close the account that added it.
8. Reporting a video or a person
Your clips and videos are private: no other barber sees them. If something in snpz looks wrong to you (a video in the feed, a video someone made with the app, or someone using it to film people without asking), email booksnpzai@gmail.com with the link or the video's name and what is wrong. We look within one business day, and we remove what breaks these terms and close the account behind it. If you were filmed by a barber who uses snpz and want our copy of you gone, write to the same address: see "Filming your clients" on the privacy page.
9. Posting, and songs
We never put a song on your video ourselves. A song goes on only by your own choice, inside TikTok or Instagram, from their own music, when you post.
Post saves the video to your phone (on a computer, it downloads) and walks you through posting it in TikTok or Instagram yourself: it opens the song's own page there, you tap Use this sound and slide it to the second the app gives, and the caption is copied for you. The song is used under their rules: they can mute or remove a song, or limit which songs a business account can use. Their own terms apply to everything you post.
snpz is not part of TikTok, Instagram or Meta, and they do not back it. We do not promise that a video meets their rules, keeps its song, or reaches anyone: they decide what stays up and who sees it.
10. Texts and notifications
Sign-up no longer asks for a cell number. If you ticked "Text me when my videos are done" before 23 October 2026, snpz may text the number you gave when a video of yours is ready. Reply STOP to stop them, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Saying no to texts changes nothing else in the app.
In the iPhone app, notifications come only if you allow them: when a video is ready, a day before your free week ends, a reminder to film on a work day if you gave your work hours, and the reminders you ask for. You can turn them off in your phone's Settings.
11. Who can use snpz
snpz is a tool for barbers and barbershops in the United States. You must be 13 or older, and in the United States, to use it. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian agrees to these terms for you. You use snpz for your work as a barber or for your shop.
12. What we cannot promise
We work to make every video good, but we cannot promise views, followers or bookings. A video can fail to edit; when it does, the app says so and you can try again.
We cannot promise the app is always up. It can be slow or stop while we fix or change it, or when the computers that edit are busy or off; a video can then wait. We may change, limit or stop any part of snpz, and we keep no copy of your work beyond the times on the privacy page, so keep your own.
Some parts of snpz are new or still being tested. They may change, stop working or be taken away, and they come with no more promise than the rest of the app.
We are not responsible for the services snpz relies on or hands you to (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Apple, Stripe, Anthropic, Twilio, Retell AI, Google, Square and the others on the privacy pages), or for delays and failures we cannot control, such as an outage of one of them, the internet, power or a disaster.
snpz is given "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond the ones on this page: no promise that it is of merchantable quality, fit for a particular purpose, free of errors, always up, or that it or what it makes infringes no one's rights, and no promise about what a video will do for your business.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost profits, income, bookings, clients, data or goodwill, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, even if we were told it could happen. The most we owe you for everything to do with snpz, all claims together, is the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. For the shop phone and texting service, this takes the place of the limit in its filed terms (section 23). Some laws do not allow some of these limits; where they do not, the limits apply as far as those laws allow.
13. If someone makes a claim against us
If someone else makes a claim against us that comes from what you added, filmed, posted or said in a video, from a person in your video, from a song you used, or from your breaking these terms or the law (a client who never agreed to be filmed, a song or video that was not yours), or from what you did with the rest of snpz (a number or an address you gave us that was not yours to give, a text your shop sent, a call your shop took, something you put in a form or a booking), you defend us against it and cover our losses and reasonable costs, a lawyer's fees included, as far as the law allows. We may run the defence ourselves; you help when we ask, and you settle nothing that binds us without our yes.
14. Leaving, and when we close an account
Delete my account, in Settings, works any time, and cancels a plan you pay for first. What it removes, and the records it keeps, are on the privacy page. We may close an account that breaks these terms, such as one that posts other people's work or films people without asking. We may also pause an account while we look into a report, or close one whose payment has failed for good. Anything you owe us, and sections 4, 5, 12, 13 and 18, still apply after an account is closed. To stop our calls, texts or emails, see sections 20 and 22; to leave the shop phone and texting service, see section 23.
15. Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we email you before the change takes effect, and the date at the top moves. Using snpz after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, stop using it and delete your account. We send notices to your account's email or show them in the app, and they count as notice in writing. A shop on our phone and texting service gets that email 30 days before a change applies to its service.
16. Copyright
If something in snpz uses your work without your permission, a video in the feed or anything someone made or stored with the app, email booksnpzai@gmail.com with the link and what is yours. We take a feed video down within one business day of hearing from you. For anything a user made, we act on the notice the way US copyright law (the DMCA) sets out, and we close the account of anyone who keeps using other people's work.
A notice under the DMCA says: the work you own (or act for), where in snpz the copy is, your name, address, phone and email, that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed by you, your agent or the law, and, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you own the work or may act for its owner; and it carries your signature, typed is fine. If we remove something of yours and you believe that was a mistake, you can send us a counter-notice the same way the DMCA sets out.
17. The iPhone app and Apple
If you got snpz from Apple's App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we alone are responsible for the app, its support and anything said about it. You may use it on any Apple device you own or control, as the App Store's own rules allow. Apple has no duty to support the app. If the app does not do what a warranty says it will, you may tell Apple, and Apple refunds what you paid Apple for it, if anything; beyond that, Apple owes nothing. A plan bought on Stripe's page is between you and us alone: Apple takes no part in it and does not refund it. Any claim about the app (that it fails a law, harms you, or breaks someone's rights in their work) is ours to answer, not Apple's. You promise you are not in a country the United States embargoes, and not on a US government list of people barred from trade. Follow the terms of your phone and data provider while you use the app. Apple and its subsidiaries can enforce these terms against you.
18. The law, and disputes
These terms are under the law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, and the Federal Arbitration Act.
Talk to us first. If you have a problem with snpz, email us at the address below with what happened and what you want; we will do the same with you. Most things are settled that way. If it is not settled within 30 days, either of us may start arbitration.
Arbitration, one person at a time. You and we agree that any dispute about snpz or these terms is settled by binding arbitration, not in court. The American Arbitration Association runs it under its rules, by video or in Pennsylvania, and the arbitrator can give you the same relief a court could, for your own claim. Either of us may still take a claim to small claims court, or ask a court to stop someone using our work, our app or their account unlawfully.
No class actions, and no jury. You and we each bring claims only for ourselves, never as part of a class, a group or a representative action, and both give up a trial by jury. If a court decides this paragraph cannot apply to a claim, that claim goes to court, and arbitration does not apply to it.
Many claims at once. If 25 or more people bring claims like each other at about the same time, with the help of the same lawyers or in a joined-up way, the claims go to arbitration in groups of 25, one group at a time, under the arbitration service's own rules for many filings. The time limit to bring the claims still waiting is paused while they wait.
You can opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first agreeing to these terms, with your name and your account's email (or the phone number or email we know you by). Then a dispute goes to court, as below.
A dispute that is not arbitrated is heard only in the courts of Perry County, Pennsylvania, or the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. A claim about snpz must be brought within one year after it arose, or it is lost, as far as the law allows that limit.
These terms and the privacy page are the whole deal between us. If a court sets part of them aside, the rest stays. Not using a right is not giving it up. You may not hand your account or these terms to someone else; we may hand them on if snpz changes owner, and the promises on these pages go with it.
19. snpz.ai and its forms
snpz.ai tells barbers about snpz. What it says about snpz describes it; the promises are in these terms. The videos on it are our own edits, shown with the OK of the people in them. Its words, pictures and videos are ours, or used with their owners' permission: you may read it and share its links, and anything more needs our written OK. We may change or take down any page.
- Give us only your own mobile number and your own shop's details, and only if you are 18 or older and may speak for the shop.
- Tapping Make your first video on snpz.ai lets a person on our team text that number about setting up your first video, as the line under the button says. Your shop also joins our customer records, so we may call it about that too. Reply STOP to any of our texts and our texts and calls stop.
- Asking for a demo call (snpz.ai/start) means our AI calls the number you typed, once, as section 21 says. Ask only for a number that is yours.
- Do not reach snpz.ai with bots or scripts, copy or scrape it, get round its bot check or its limits, or put anything false, unlawful or abusive into a form.
20. Calls from us
We call barbershops on the numbers they publish or give us, to tell them about snpz. A person on our team makes those calls, inside the hours our privacy policy sets out. We do not record our sales calls today; if we ever do, we will say so at the start of the call, and anyone who says no is not recorded. Our team may mention what your shop and your barbers publish, such as your listing, your website or your Instagram. Tell us on a call, by text or by email that you do not want our calls, and we stop for good.
21. Our AI on the phone
- Some calls with snpz are answered or made by AI: our own sales line when nobody on our team can pick up, a demo call you ask for, and a shop's phone where the shop switched our AI receptionist on. It says it is automated whenever anyone asks.
- AI can mishear, get a fact wrong, or say something we would not. Nothing our AI says about snpz is a promise from us beyond these terms; a call back it books is a person on our team calling you at that time. A booking it makes for a shop is the shop's booking (section 24).
- A demo call answers as your shop, built from your shop's website a minute earlier, so a price or a name it gives can be wrong. Nothing it books is real. Use it only to hear what our AI would sound like for your own shop: never to call anyone else, record anyone, or pretend to be anyone.
- Never use our AI, our forms or our texts to prank, harass, threaten or trick anyone.
22. Texts and emails we send barbershops
Our texts come from our own number, in snpz's name; a shop's texts to its clients come from the shop's own number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text from us and our texts and calls stop for good; for help, email us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. To stop our emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one, or reply "stop".
23. Shops on our phone, texting and booking service
- The service's own terms, kept word for word as filed with the phone carriers, are at the bottom of snpz.ai/terms, with its price. These terms add to them, and sections 12 to 16 and 18 apply to the service too. Where the two differ, these terms apply.
- Your shop is the sender of the texts that go out from its number, and the business your callers mean to reach. You are responsible for having your clients' consent to the texts you send them, for telling callers what the law where you work requires, including that a call may be recorded, and for what your staff do with snpz.
- The AI receptionist is software. Watch its bookings the way you would a new hire's.
- If you connect your Square, you let us read and change your Square customers and appointments, and read your payments, to run the service for you. You can disconnect at any time.
- If you leave, the AI receptionist is switched off and your number given up within 7 days. Ask us for a copy of your client list before you go, and to delete what we hold for you.
24. Booking with a shop
If you book with a shop, get its texts or call it, the shop is the business you deal with: its barbers, prices, hours, cancellation rules and the cut itself are the shop's, not ours. We run the booking page, the texts and, where the shop switched it on, the AI that answers its phone, for the shop. A booking or a time the AI gives you is the shop's to keep or change; if something looks wrong, call or text the shop. The shop's texts to you follow the program terms at the bottom of snpz.ai/terms: reply STOP to stop them, START to have them back, HELP for the shop's number.
